hybrid-immersion & percolation

SUPPLIES:
-225g of water (15:1 ratio)
-15g of freshly ground coffee (fine)
-Kettle
-Stirrer
-Aeropress

STEP ONE
Put coffee grounds into AeroPress sitting on top of decanter or mug. Begin your first pour up to 30g of water.

STEP TWO
At 30 seconds, begin your next pour, completely pouring the remaining amount of water, which should be 200g. This should take anywhere from 25-35 seconds.

STEP THREE
Once you’ve finished this pour, use your stirrer or a spoon to agitate the slurry for about ten rotations to ensure all grounds are properly saturated. Let brew until 1:45

STEP FOUR
At 2:00, place the plunger on the brewer and pull up slightly to create a pressure seal.

FINAL STEP
Gently press down the plunger with a steady pressure. This process should take about 20 seconds. Enjoy!
