Located at 1400 meters above sea level under the watchful eye of Mount Tenan, the fifty-acre farm is home to rare micro-lots of delicious coffee offerings. Formerly a cattle farm, Finca la Unica was purchased in 2016 by Leticia, a fifth generation coffee farmer, standing as a proud example for women by owning her own land and taking ownership of a role typically reserved for men in Honduras. Changes to infrastructure made on the farm include the addition of sleeping quarters for fifty coffee pickers, bathrooms, and kitchens with clean water. Visit la Unica and you’ll find hidden gems throughout our gorgeous rows of coffee trees, whether it be stunning views, cacao trees, lemons the size of your head, or wild berries, there will always be something new to find here.

Finca la Unica offers a full and refreshing experience as a naturally processed coffee. This process allows for the seed inside the cherry to absorb more from the juices of the mucilage that surrounds the seed. This in turn changes the flavor profile of the coffee, giving it a more fruit-forward prominence in the cup. We love this coffee on drip and espresso and hope you will too.
