Coffee runs deep in the Schipper family's veins, with John Schipper leading the charge at Finca San Luis El Volcancito in Guatemala. His two daughters, affectionately known as Dos Niñas, represent the fourth generation of farmers at the farm's heart.
Growing up amidst the beauty of the Guatemalan countryside, the Schippers sisters now reside in the United States, dedicated to sharing their family's exceptional coffee with roasters across the country.
Located in Pueblo Nuevo Viñas, Santa Rosa, Finca San Luis El Volcancito has been a part of the Schippers family since 1998, though its roots trace back to 1881. Nestled between the Guatemalan mountains, the farm benefits from its own private volcano, ensuring incredibly fertile soil for coffee cultivation.
From nurturing seedlings in the nursery to expertly picking ripe cherries during harvest, every step of the coffee's journey is meticulously cared for. Processing takes place on-site, with newly tiled fermentation tanks ensuring superior clarity and quality.
